Sarathkumar’s daughter Pooja to make Kollywood debut with Varalaxmi’s next, Shakthi

We had told you that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be acting in a female-centric film directed by Mysskin's assistant Priyadaarshini. The film, a trilingual, has now been titled Shakthi. And it will also mark the debut of another member from the Sarath Kumar family — his younger daughter Pooja Sarathkumar.

Revealing the information, Varalaxmi says, "Pooja has a flair for picking clothes and she even dresses me up for events. So, we felt that she should start doing it as a profession. Since this is a film with a lot of women in the team, we felt that she would be more comfortable making her debut with this. Also, I would be there to guide her."

Talking about what she has in mind for sister's look in the film, Pooja says, "The director has given a clear brief on the look. Varalaxmi will have a corporate kind of look; her costumes will also be casual and sporty."
