I will not take up any position in any association: Dileep

Soon after actor Dileep was granted bail by the Kerala High Court, the film associations which had cancelled his membership had decided to resume him to the positions he was handling.
Actor-Politician K B Ganesh Kumar had even exclusively told Kochi Times that the actor shouldn't accept the positions offered especially by Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) as they did not follow the procedure and Mammootty took a random decision just to please Prithiviraj. Later B Unnikrishnan too told us that it is up to Dileep to decide if he should return to the associations or not.


As per the reports, the actor has said that he will not be taking up the presidential position at Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK), the association he had formed after the film crisis happened recently. Dileep was removed from the presidential post soon after his arrest in connection with the actress assault case on July 10. He also added that he he will not be taking up any position in any association and will be offering all the support to the film industry.

Dileep was arrested for allegedly conspiring the abduction and assault of the popular actress that took place in February at Kochi.
